The European Researchers’ Night is an open science event that invites the public audience to get to know the work performed for the scientists all over the Europe. This year the event was held in around 300 cities simultaneously across Europe on September 28th. The event is free of charge and opens the doors for everyone from children to elderly!

The University of Oulu (Finland) took part of this amazing event and opened the doors for the public with several events including seminars, workshops and experiments. The coordinator of MIRACLE project was invited to present the MIRACLE project at the Pecha Kucha Night.

This type of presentation challenges the researcher to talk about their work in 20 images/slides, limited to 20 seconds each. The speaker do not have control of the change of slides and have to manage the presentation time very well while delivering the message to the audience.

You can watch our coordinator presentation about MIRACLE in the video below! Do you think she managed the Pecha Kucha challenge well?

European Researchers’ Night project is funded by the European Commission under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions under contract number 817987.
